Who is TPG Mobile?
TPG is owned by TPG Telecom which operates a number of internet brands in Australia and overseas, including Vodafone. This means that when you subscribe to a TPG Mobile plan, you will have access to the Vodafone 4G network. If you are currently with Vodafone and have no issues with your coverage, you should not notice any change in coverage if you switch to TPG.
All TPG mobile plans give you the option to add international calls to 37 countries for an extra $5 per month, if you fancy making long distance calls. And because these are prepaid, SIM-only plans, you’ll need to BYO your device. If you run out of data, it will cost you $10 per GB, so make sure you pick an option that has enough data for your usage so you don’t get caught.
