Samsung wins 46 CES 2023 innovation awards from Consumer Technology Association


Samsung Recognized for Its Commitment to Delivering a Customizable and Seamlessly Connected Experience to Customers, While Contributing to an Eco-Friendly World

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global technology leader, today announced that 46 of its new product and service innovations have received the CES® 2023 Innovation Award, including three Best of Innovation award winners of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®. The annual program recognizes outstanding design and engineering across a multitude of consumer technology product categories.

Samsung was recognized in multiple categories, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering a customizable and seamlessly connected experience to consumers, while contributing to an eco-friendly world. With sustainability at the heart of everything Samsung does, consumers were encouraged to join the company as they made daily changes that had a significant impact on the environment. Bold new ideas have emerged, including investments in sustainable materials, increased product energy efficiency and responsible recycling, as well as refurbished and repairable appliances, while reducing the company’s carbon footprint by using 100% renewable energy in all facilities in the United States, Europe and China.

Samsung products were recognized as winners of innovation awards in Digital Imaging/Photography, Mobile Devices & Accessories, Gaming, Digital Health, Wearable Technology & Video Displays, Home Audio Visual Components & Accessories, and Software & Mobile Applications . Several of these winners incorporate eco-friendly features, including the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4, both of which are made with reused fishing nets and include 100% recycled paper for flagship product packaging.
