New Holland launches new D-Series backhoe

New Holland Agriculture has launched its new line of D-Series backhoe loaders which the company says offer greater fuel economy.

The new F36 3.6-litre four-cylinder engine delivers power and torque of up to 82 kW and 460 Nm. The Hi-eSCR2 after-treatment system uses EGR (exhaust gas recirculation), an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and a low-flow DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to meet stringent Stage V emissions standards.

The SCR incorporates a maintenance-free filtering device, which has the dual benefit of keeping the aftertreatment compact in size, so it has no impact on machine design and visibility and ensuring uptime. maximum.

Machine efficiency is enhanced by the standard Eco mode, which automatically regulates engine speed and hydraulic pressure in all operations that do not require sustained speed and power, saving up to 10% fuel.

Additional fuel economy is achieved with Auto Idle, which reduces engine speed when the machine is idle for more than five seconds, and Auto Engine Shutdown, which turns the engine off after three minutes of inactivity.

A redesigned wider cab provides better access and room to increase knee and foot clearance when the operator rotates the seat to switch from loader to backhoe operation. The parking brake and stabilizer levers have been relocated and the right console switches have been grouped together.

With the new FNR (Forward, Neutral, Reverse) switch integrated into the loader joystick and a new joystick roller switch to extend bucket operation, these features further add to operator comfort and productivity.

The latest Bluetooth technology includes two new USB ports, a 12V port on the instrument cluster and a cell phone holder that makes it easier for the operator to bring their digital life on board. Excellent storage capacity, quadrupled compared to the C-Series, will allow operators to comfortably accommodate everything they need during their working day.

Operator safety is always essential for New Holland, and the D-Series backhoe loaders introduce further improvements. The excellent 360° visibility offered by the large glass surfaces benefits from new rear side windows, as well as powerful working light packs.

This is in addition to numerous safety features, such as cab ROPS and FOPS (Roll-Over and Fall-Over Protection Systems) certification, standard outrigger check valves, backhoe transport lock , safety valves available for hydraulic cylinders, optional front loader control valves, 4×1/6×1 check valves and object handling kit.
